Such is the story line of Russ Rice and director Brad Silverman’s new film, “Grace Unplugged.” Russ and Brad talk about the making of the film, and Grace Trey, played by AJ Michalka, a young woman in the movie who leaves home seeking the stardom she’s always dreamed of. Yet with each rung of the ladder she climbs, Grace feels more and more pressure to compromise her values. Will she reject her faith, or rediscover it? Grace Unplugged opens in theaters October 4.
