For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart,” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus preached that the kingdom of God is here. He told His disciples to spread the good news of the kingdom. What exactly is the kingdom of God? The kingdom of God is simply God’s government and He is King. In a kingdom everything belongs to the king. All the land, resources, crops, livestock, ideas, inventions, beliefs, and people belong to him. The king is responsible for taking care of everything. If you own anything it has to be given to you by the king. The king is responsible for taking care of his kingdom.Amazing Grace Paul talked about a thorn in his flesh. He said he asked God to remove it three times. God told Paul that his grace was sufficient. Sometimes we have troubles to keep us humble even though they seem grievous to our heart. I tell you today, that God’s “Amazing Grace” is sufficient enough to sustain us and get us through. The Truth Behind Tithing Tithing is a concept that has created great controversy inside and outside the church. Some people feel like tithing is a slick way for pastors and ministers to get rich. Others feel like tithing is a problem because they don't know what their church is doing with the money. However, both arguments are false.
