The law exists for a purpose, but too many Christians today are hung up on ritual and laws. That’s exactly what Paul addresses in the section of Colossians we’ll look at today. Turn to Colossians two, verses sixteen through twenty-three, and we’ll join Pastor Al Pittman.

To know Jesus and His attributes is to realize that there no reason to follow any other path but the path that takes you to Him. He paid the full price for our sins, and the rewards of living a life pleasing to Him, and accepting Him as your savior are almost impossible to put into words. It’s a favorite among many because it expresses very eloquently the pure joy of knowing Jesus Christ as Savior. Perhaps it was giving a speech in class, or doing something else that you really didn’t want to do. Well, sometimes our call to ministry will lead us beyond our comfort zone too, and that’s a good thing as we’ll soon see.
