Incidents of that type always prompt us to contemplate the fragility of life, and as Christians, we find comfort in knowing that we serve a mighty and powerful God. He is a God who loves us and has a plan laid out for our lives. Do you trust in Him completely?

Pastor Al continues in the book of Acts today, and what he will remind us of is one of the most important truths we find in the bible - when we receive Jesus as savior, we immediately become an enemy of the world. But the cool thing about it is, God knows we will make enemies when we start following Him, and He’ll carry us through the difficult times we’ll surely face.

David wrote this Psalm, and his motivation was the way God protected him from his enemies. We may not have armies breathing down our necks trying to kill us, but we do have enemies
