I’m sure you have friends or family members who have gone to heaven, It’s exciting to just think of all that they’re experiencing - and one day we will join them.

How many of them lasted long enough for the ink to dry? Not many. Peace will be the topic here today as we wrap up pastor Al Pittman’s Christmas series. One of the reasons Jesus was born was to make peace between a perfect God, and sinful man. Our sin is what separated us from God in the first place, and by sending His son to earth to die for our sins, God signed a peace treaty with us, using the blood of His only son.

So far, we have learned about God’s hope, God’s love, God’s joy, and today, pastor Al will share with us that Jesus is our source of peace. Peace is a reclusive thing. Mankind tries often to manufacture peace in this world, but it almost always doesn’t last. Lasting peace? It’s found in only one place.

That results in temporary happiness, and ultimate disappointment.
