The majority of the people that were recruited for Christianity in Jesus' time were not well educated and less financially well-off. And yet the disciples kept pressing on, why? Christ was very real to them. God’s promises that
were manifested in their presence before and after Christ’s resurrection convinced them that heaven rules; that reality made them believe that they would never be losers; if they honored Christ they would always be on the side of victory.
