Why We Say the Bible is True Part 2

October 2, 2019

As stated in our previous program, all of the crisis in the world is because we have lost sight of God’s truth. Sin came into the human chain and we are all born with its effects. But God made a way to undo the damage. Now each individual has the opportunity to come before God, acknowledge their sin, repent and turn from wicked ways and follow the example of Jesus. God will always honor his Word.

The world is in crisis because we have lost truth. It has become fashionable to use relativism, which says there are no absolutes, “your truth is not my truth and my truth is not your truth”. But if that is true, just by that statement alone, relativism is already stating an ABSOLUTE thereby defeating its purpose and revealing its falsehood. Bottom line: modern culture has willingly decided to replace truth with lies. The danger of neglecting truth is that we lose sight of right and wrong.

The subject we are looking at is very serious and life changing. Jesus pointed this out very clearly when he said in Matthew 12:37 (ESV): "[F]or by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Or as it's stated in Proverbs 18:21: "Life and death are in the power of the tongue." Scientists have experimented with how words affect nature and the results are remarkable and worth exploring.

Human beings have been given an awesome power in their words that many people are not aware of. Exactly how much power does each word have and how does it work? Do you pause to think of the effect your words will have before you think them or emit them? It is very clear that every human being possesses the image of God, but what does it look like? How does it function?

Abortion on demand was decriminalized in the United States in January 22, 1973 by a Supreme Court decision. The abortion rate has dropped nearly every year since 1980. Even though I rejoice in the decreasing numbers in abortions, other factors keep getting more and more grotesque happening in the abortion industry.

Recently I wrote an editorial which I titled Legal Barbarism in America and the research impacted me so much again that I decided to develop this radio program with the same title and expand what I want to share with all of us. There’s no denying the legal barbarism going on in America today is alarming and should be of great concern to all of us.

Our pluralistic society wants to avoid the idea that there really is a right and wrong. Except, every human being in the world has an inborn knowledge of God and his law. Following God’s principles is really not complicated only IF we do not want to live life his way. Let us determine to learn all about God’s principles for right living, then live them and teach to them to those around us and fight to establish them in our society.

Some typical expressions that reveal an underlying presupposition of relativism are comments such as: "That is your truth, not mine;" "It is true for you, but not for me;" and "There are no absolute truths." Society cannot flourish nor survive in an environment where everyone does what is right in his own eyes. If all things are relative, then there cannot be anything that is absolutely true. The created world operates under absolutes.

The truth is seared into mankind's heart. It is impossible to get away from the conviction of wrongdoing. Some choose to ignore it, while others take heed. Human beings have the freedom of choice to listen to or disobey God, but they cannot live free of the effects. Actions have consequences.

It is certainly no secret that biblical morality is being ushered out of American social structures and off the cultural main stage. It is becoming so pervasive that if you speak out against moral relativism and its "anything goes" philosophy, you're labeled as an intolerant bigot. But, where is the standard?
September 18, 2019
It is imperative that we understand this philosophical position. Those of this persuasion have worked with long-range goals and have been very successful. This mindset is even in the churches of America. Why do we need absolutes anyway? Join us as we explore this topic and find answers to this troubling trend.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
