The Outcome of Losing Hope
February 19, 2010
How important is hope? A living hope is one of the three Christian virtues that constitute the foundation of the Christian faith. When a person loses hope they lose all incentive; they have no drive or desire to go on in life. They feel despondent and totally impotent to sustain their way of life as they have envisioned it. As our chaotic, godless culture continues to corrupt itself and clearly headed for a fall unless we return to God, many people may choose to take the recourse that Joseph Andrew Stack did. May God help us to truly bring hope to our generation through word and example of what a true living hope is in Christ.
