I Need to Make Some Changes in My Life

February 4, 2018

Have you ever found yourself saying, “I need to make some changes in my life.” I’m just not very good at running my life on my own; no one is. We are sinners, and when we try to live life on our own terms, it can lead to disaster. We’re not very good at fixing it either as we use own willpower, our own strength.

In the parable of the Final Judgment, Jesus teaches about the shepherd separating the sheep (obedient servants) from the goats (pretenders) on the last day according to their good works. As Christians, we like to appear as nice and pious to others around us.  But every once in a while we need to stop and check our spiritual pulse. Are we stretching ourselves past those boundaries? When we do, lives can be changed for Jesus.
