Does all New Testament instruction hinge upon the new covenant?

September 10, 2021

Does all New Testament instruction hinge upon the new covenant? Sometimes I get fearful I’m not tithing enough and won’t make it to heaven. Can you help me? I’ve been seeing someone who does not share my faith in Christ. Now we are separated but had a child together. What should I do? Can we pray for people who have Covid?

We can make a big deal of our sins, thinking we can somehow undo what the Father has done for us. We see this in the parable of the Prodigal Son as he rehearses a lengthy apology and can’t deliver it before he’s celebrated. In this message from Luke 15, you’ll learn that God doesn’t need your excessive sorrow or groveling over sins. He doesn’t need a lengthy speech of contrition from you. And He doesn’t want you feeling any condemnation. In fact, He wants you to experience His delight in you. Enjoy this message in which I encourage you to stop obsessing over your sins and let the Father celebrate you!
