At various times in our lives we’ll find ourselves afraid and feel like we’re all alone! But God has a message for us at such times… take courage, be of good cheer, and God will stand with us!  Paul needed to hear that at this season of life.  Be encouraged today by the Lord who stands with us, even during difficult days like these.

It seems like a day doesn’t go by that we don’t at the very least hear of Israel mentioned in the news.  Needless to say, many eyes are on this little nation… even God’s!  While many of the Jews have rejected their Messiah, God hasn’t forgotten them.  He has a plan for them, and that’s the focus of Romans chapter nine.  That’s where we’re headed today on a Daily Walk.

As you read through your Bible you can’t help but notice what God has to say about idolatry!  From the children of Israel engaging in it left and right and suffering the consequences to verses like First John 5:21 which encourages us to keep ourselves from idols.  While we may think of idolatry as a thing of the past, in reality it’s a real problem in the present.  Today on a Daily Walk we finish up Acts nineteen and receive a study on idolatry and observe quite an uproar in Ephesus.
