God will fight for me

Jeremiah 1:19 “And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee.”
Don't you just love getting the confirming word in your spirit that ‘God will deliver you.’
Yes, I love hearing that word it gives me confidence and it also boost my morale to stand up a little taller, to walk more bodily or have a pep in my step!
The previous verse tell us that God told the children of Israel do not dismayed, meaning deterred by the fear they want to put on you. Inevitably, they are coming to fight you, but it doesn't matter how big or mighty they are they will not prevail.
I love that, you my friend have a secret weapon that is invisible to the natural person, but it is mighty in the spirit. God can use you to defeat everything that is coming against you; or God can show his sovereignty and all you have to do is be still and receive the victory.
Prayer
Father, whatever the personal battle we are fighting is, we take a moment to be still and hand it over to you. We know that there are many tools you could use to defeat the enemy in our circumstance right now and we choose to rely on you today. We do not look at the faces of our enemies and get terrified, but we look at the greatness of your presence and stand tall for the victory that is coming. We will send a praise to you while we are still fighting for the victory.
