God is concerned about you
“So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them.” Exodus 2:25 NIV
Are you as intrigued as I am that in this text God is concerned about His people the Israelites?
The meaning of the word concern means to care about; have a specific connection with or be responsible for.
When did God stop being responsible to do something specific for Israel, His people?
I put it to you, when Israel become confident in their own strength, and saw Egypt as their promise land because they thrived and prospered in a place that was not their promise or covenant. It was only part of the process or provision to bring into the place of fulfillment that God had promised their patriarchs.
It is unfortunate that when a generation stops honoring the Lord their God, He stops doing specific things that shows His responsibility to them.
