A Hunger For The Word
"The days are coming," declares the Sovereign LORD, "when I will send a famine through the land-- not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD. Amos 8:11 (NIV)
There should be a hunger in your being to hear God through His word, and not the opinions or translation of man’s idea about God. God’s word consistently reminds us of His power, His love, His grace and favor towards us. We are His children and we should love to hear his words, and let them touch our hearts and imagination in a new way each day.
We pray that you will keep a listening ear to hear God speak to your heart. His still small voice can still encourage you to want more of Him.
