Thanksgiving

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits,
the God of our salvation! Selah
Psalm 68:19

David penned Psalm 68. In this beautiful song, he praised the Lord for His abundant blessings and His fulfilled promises. David paused to reflect on the Lord’s goodness. In your heart, answer the question presented in Psalm 116:12. Then think on the other incredible passages of Scripture. Why not write your own response to the Lord for His goodness upon your own life:

Psalm 116:12 ESV: What shall I render to the Lord for all his benefits to me?

Psalm 7:17 ESV: I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High.

Psalm 100:4 NIV: Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.

Psalm 107:8-9 NIV: Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind, for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

God blesses each one of us individually with His grace, love, mercy and salvation––every single day! This Thanksgiving, as you gather with friends and family, take time to pause and thank the Lord for all His daily benefits that He has so generously bestowed.

“We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven; we have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity; we have grown in numbers, wealth, and power as no other nation has ever grown.”
~Abraham Lincoln~
