Saved From Wrath

Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
Romans 5:9-11

Paul gave Christians such good news. Being justified, they would be saved from God’s wrath. Christians will not experience the wrath of God! They will experience peace, joy, love and eternal life––comfort, not discomfort.

Christians need to know the full counsel of the Word of God. Then they can understand God’s salvation as seen throughout the Old Testament and New Testament Scriptures. The redemptive stories and prophecies all go together from Genesis to Revelation. As a believer, it is important to study the Bible line upon line, then you can go on to grow to maturity.

Did you notice how the Father and the Son worked together in the plan of men’s reconciliation to God? God reminds people, “If you want to come to Me, you have to come through My Son.” He is the key––the Mediator––the Savior. Jesus is the only One who can change a person’s life as they come to Him by faith. If you do not know Christ, today is the perfect time to accept Him as your Savior! Listen to God’s Words in 2 Corinthians 6:2: For He [God] says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

Seriously, think about your salvation, where will you spend eternity? If you died today, would you experience God’s wrath or God’s comfort? God has revealed the only way of salvation to you; it is through His Son (1Timothy 2:5-6). Today is the day of salvation––do not delay––call upon the name of Jesus Christ and ask Him to forgive you of your sins!

That Christ and a forgiven sinner should be made one, and share heaven between them, is the wonder of salvation; what more could love do?
