Sharing the Gospel

I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart.
Romans 9:1-2

The Apostle Paul shared his heart and attitude with the people of God––the Jews. He had great sorrow for them because he did not want to see them perish eternally. Even though Paul had such a great love for the Jews, God had called him to go preach the Gospel to the Gentiles.

Paul persisted in the call of God because he knew people were perishing eternally. He was unstoppable in his mission. He accurately presented the Gospel of truth to those who were spiritually lost. Paul knew the Gospel would save people and bring them to a place of peace and contentment.

Those who have been transformed by the Gospel are able to say to others, “There is nothing that satisfies my life apart from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Salvation has been freely given to me without any cost to me, but the price of my forgiveness for my sins has cost Christ His life.” He died on the Cross and shed His blood for my sins (Ephesians 1:7).

May God help us not to deviate from the call of God to preach the Gospel of truth to the lost. More than ever, the windows of opportunity are wide open to reach more people in this needy world with the Good News! We need to be committed to accomplish all of God’s will in our lives. It is all that He has placed on our hearts and minds to do––fully and completely.

May God make each day profitable as you step out by faith to preach the Gospel! Allow God to use your life to give Good News to others. Ask God for a renewed passion. Like Paul, be unstoppable in the call of God.

The gospel is the chariot wherein the Spirit rides victoriously when he makes his entrance into the hearts of men.
