Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled

them up to the brim. And He said to them, “Draw some out now,

and take it to the master of the feast.”

   (John 2:7-8)

Even as the men drew the water from the pot, it turned to wine. After the master of the feast drank it, he complimented the bridegroom on its excellent quality. The Lord turned crisis into creativity, tragedy into triumph, poverty into plenty, and water into wine. When man provides anything, he always supplies the best first and then an inferior product after that. But when Jesus Christ comes into our lives, He starts with the best, and then continues to do “above all that we ask or think.”
