Imagine getting ready to do battle against 135,000 soldiers with only 300 men. With 135,000 to 300 odds, Gideon needed a creative plan and extraordinary resources.
Gideon told all of the men who weren't selected for battle to leave their trumpets behind. This resulted in an excessive supply of trumpets, enough for each man to have one. God took what Gideon's men had in their possession and used those trumpets to bring victory.
In Judges 7:22 we read, "When they blew 300 trumpets, the Lord set the sword of one against another even throughout the whole army." God used the unique resources of Gideon's men to defeat 135,000 Midianites.
If you're facing big odds at work today, maybe God has already provided you unlikely, but extraordinary resources for victory.
