“For as he thinks within himself so he is” - Proverbs 23:7
I just read a story of a man who was blinded by a childhood accident. After many years of fabulous success as a blind man, it seemed everything this man touched he excelled at physically, business-wise, family-wise, marriage-wise, just everything. He was healed through modern technologies stem cell research. He regained his sight. The adjustments were difficult, he had adjusted to his blindness and all that he was able to accomplish.
When Jesus left this world he promised us the Holy Spirit. Jesus is our stem cell donor. Through the Holy Spirit, a Christian finds himself saying on a continuous basis “Oh, now I see,” as spiritual revelations about how life is supposed to work, changing perceptions and decision-making filters. You already have God’s mind on the matter. All you have to do is Google God through the Holy Spirit.
The process of Googling God on all matters concerning your relationship with others, and His will for your life is called spiritual discernment. The Holy Spirit is in you and changes the way you think about everything. He is leading you with his donor cells of thought straight from Jesus, laying them over your own diseased thinking, and triggering the regeneration of new insight that promotes spiritual eye sight. These new thoughts eventually fuse with your thoughts to build a new intuition. The continuous and ongoing repair of our thinking is carried out over time by our own willing cooperation. The Bible says, “to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. (Ephesians 4:23-24)
Father, thank you for the gift of insight through your donor cells.
