I’m Going Another Way – Beloved Women - April 8, 2019

READ

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. - Philippians 4:8 ESV

TODAY’S ENCOURAGEMENT

God has given us the power to overcome and to move mountains. Our thoughts, however, can be one thing that hinders us from moving in the direction God has called us to go. Sometimes we have to leave the familiar pattern that our life continues to go in if we want to see change.

The enemy will try to make us think that where we are now is our final destination and that we will never be able to do or be any better. If there has been no significant change in our lives, we are tempted to believe the lie that we must continue on the same path.

For us to change direction, we must change how we think and stop believing the lies that say we can’t do any better. Believing God’s truth over lies propel us towards all that God has for us.

PRAY

Dear Heavenly Father, I am grateful for the power of thought. I pray that my thoughts will produce and create things that will launch me further into my future and not pull me back into my past. Please give me the tools I need to maintain a life of positive thought patterns. In Jesus Name, I pray. Amen.

REFLECT

When was the last time you did a heart check? What thought patterns do you need to change?
