When the psalmists advise us how to heal spiritually, they do not tell us to purchase a television, car, house, self-help book or exercise equipment.

Of all the gifts God has given us, life, both physical and spiritual, is the most fundamental and the most precious.
Jesus then took the loaves, and having given thanks, He distributed to those who were seated; likewise also of the fish as much as they wanted (John 6:11). This miracle is the movement from wreaking death to bringing forth life, the movement from fear to love.
He has set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end (Eccl. 3:11). Is the cross good news for the rest of creation as well? Can there be such a thing as a "Christian environmentalist?"
