Christ doesn’t keep a record of wrongs. How do we know this? Because Paul's love poem tells us that true love doesn't keep a balance sheet of perceived slights. I'm so thankful that Jesus doesn't keep a record of all my failures. When I confess, His forgiveness puts my sins as far as the east is from the west. The moment we come to repentance and say, “Lord Jesus, I’m sorry. I ask you to forgive me,” the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanses us from all sin. And that's why 1 Corinthians 13 says that love never keeps a record of the wrongs that are done against us.
