Now when someone asks, "What do you do?" I can respond with, "I'm a professor” or “I have a broadcast called Truth Encounter." For years, however, I said, "I'm a pastor," and it was amazing to see how unbelievers immediately put on their good behavior. I could almost hear them saying, “Watch it, we’ve got to be holy. Watch the language. Certainly, don't talk about our recent vacation to Vegas." That’s what makes the reaction of sinners to Jesus in the Gospels so interesting. They actually wanted to hang out with Him and He's the only perfect man who ever lived. Jesus opened the door for folks to face what was actually going on in their lives. What do I do as a believer to cause them to want to put on a mask?
