It is one thing to believe that persecution and death are under the control of God—most of us would believe that—but it’s another thing to consider that the ordinary, mundane trials in life (malfunctioning traffic lights, plane delays, rainstorms, etc.) are also under the control of God. But as Pastor Stephen Davey will remind us today, our response to those little inconveniences of life will sometimes tell more about our faith than our response to the great life-altering ones.
