There are many things in Scripture that are too difficult for our human minds to grasp. But perhaps the most difficult topic—and often the most troubling—is the topic of hell. It’s hard to even say the word without shuttering, isn’t it? Questions immediately arise in our minds: How can God punish finite beings infinitely? Why doesn’t God just let people die off? Isn’t the pain of this world hell enough?  We’ve all asked the questions . . . but now let’s go to God’s Word for the answers.
