Settle Out of Court Part 2
Saturday, March 26, 2011

References: Revelation 20

There are many things in Scripture that are too difficult for our human minds to grasp; but perhaps the most difficult topic – and often the most troubling – is the topic of hell. It’s hard to even say the word without shuttering, isn’t it? Questions immediately arise in our minds like, “How can God punish finite beings infinitely? Or isn’t the pain of this world hell enough?” Questions like these are posed in books, T.V. shows, and University classrooms – not to mention our own minds – all the time. So let’s join Pastor Stephen Davey in his series, “Is Hell for Real,” as he answers these questions for us.

Speech Therapy for Saints
Did you know the average person speaks between 2,000 and 10,000 words a day?! That means we have thousands of opportunities daily to encourage others or tear them down, to honor God or dishonor Him, and Jesus says in Matthew 12:34 that each word spoken reveals a little more about who we are on the inside. So in this series, Stephen takes us back into the convicting book of James to give us a long, hard look at our hearts…through the window of our mouths.
