When you hear the word “Nike,” what immediately comes to mind? Probably the slogan that Nike puts on every product: that simple, three-word phrase, “Just do it.” That is genius but by no means original. James was saying it a long time before Nike was. In fact, James’ entire message can be summarized in that single catch phrase. He reminds us that it’s not enough to just read the Bible or talk about it or listen to sermons from it...we need to live the Bible!
