Everyone knows the story in Genesis about the Tower of Babel. Even people who aren’t “religious” have heard of it. But not many people understand what makes this story so significant. It marks the beginning of the war between two cities: the city of Man and the city of God. In Genesis, God was gracious to Babylon by allowing her inhabitants to live. But in Revelation, when she seeks to overthrow Him again, He isn’t so merciful.
