"The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes, And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.” - Genesis 49:10
“Shiloh” is coming, God promises. The Peacemaker will appear in history, rising from the Tribe of Judah, David’s clan. Shiloh comes and makes peace possible between people and God, through His reconciling atonement. But the scepter and ruler’s staff will remain in the world until Shiloh comes to establish peace between humans and all their adversarial relationships. Then a child will play at the hole of the scorpion and swords will be beaten into plowshares. The sequence of peacemaking is first peace between people and God, then peace between humans and nature. Shiloh has come and is coming.

Often, we don't know what to say when we get in the presence of God. The Apostles saw that when Jesus prayed, power came into life — a light, a power, and a relevance that was supernatural. They understood that to tap into this power, they would need to learn to pray as Jesus prayed. Join Dr. Ed Young as he shares practical lessons from the Lord's Prayer and discover the power through prayer that can be yours today.
