Jonathan Edwards, one of the leaders of the First Great Awakening in America, wrote – “The visible kingdom of Satan shall be overthrown, and the kingdom of Christ set up on the ruins of it, everywhere throughout the whole inhabitable globe.” The gospel is a powerful force in this world when it is preached and proclaimed in the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s influence can change nations. Our prayer today is that the gospel will march forth in triumph over the whole world and that all nations will come to know the true Savior of the world.
