When Jesus came into the world, He was rejected for the most part by the Jews. The Jewish leaders opposed Him and eventually led the people to cry out against Him and call for His crucifixion. Yet, in all of this God’s plan was being worked out. Jesus’ going to the cross was no second thought on God’s part. It was His sovereign purpose all along that in the end would bring salvation to the peoples of the whole world.
