Jesus came riding into Jerusalem on a donkey as a gentle king, righteous and having salvation. The kingdom of Jesus would advance not by military means but by peaceful means. He would go forth as a conqueror fighting not with sharp swords and military weapons but with the sword of his mouth, the Word of God. It is through the preaching of the Word that the Kingdom of God will advance. It is through the might working of the Holy Spirit accompanying the Word that God's kingdom will expand. What we need today is not more wars but the powerful preaching of the Word of God. It will be only as Christ's kingdom advances that world peace will come.
