God promised Abraham that through His seed all peoples on earth would be blessed. Here we have an earthly promise that applies to this age. The gospel will yet prevail in this world that we are living in. The whole world was included in the promise made to Abraham. This promise should spur us on to proclaim the gospel to all the peoples of the world that each people group might receive the promise made to Abraham.
