In 1967, Roland Lamb declared, “The Protestant Reformation, sparked off four hundred and fifty years ago today when Martin Luther nailed his famous ’95 Theses’ to the door of the University Church at Wittenberg, is the greatest extra-biblical illustration of the scriptural doctrine of revival.” Truly, the Reformation was a time of great revival when the gospel was preached with great power when the great themes of faith alone, the Bible alone, and grace alone were shouted from the housetops. Today, we need another great revival to take place and we need the powerful preaching of the Word that so prevailed in the time of the Reformation. This week, we consider another of the great Reformation themes: Grace Alone.Pastor Ferdinand Duyaguit leads a Bible Study in a home in the Philippines. Three of these people recently accepted Christ.
