William Bradford wrote concerning the Pilgrims, "They had a great hope and inward zeal of laying some good foundation, or at least to make some way thereunto, for the propagating and advancing of the gospel of the Kingdom of Christ in these remote parts of the world, though they should be but as stepping-stones unto others for performing of so great a task." The Pilgrims came to America for a purpose and God blessed their efforts. Let us not forget what they did.
