Iain Murray in his book on revival writes concerning the preachers of the Great Evangelical Awakening in the 18th century, "It was as these eighteenth-century preachers were filled with the Holy Spirit that the same kind of power accompanied their witness as we see recorded in the book of Acts. Those who heard them were constrained to believe that God was there. Minds and consciences were arrested by an authority and boldness for which they could not otherwise account." Today, we need a visitation from on high that revival might come upon us in our day.
