Daniel prayed to his God on behalf of his nation. He began his prayer by confessing the sins of his people including himself. Today, our leaders cry out "God bless America" but they never confess the nation's sins. Don't they understand that God's blessings come to nations that honor and obey Him? How can we expect to be blessed when we as a nation dishonor God?
