References: Jonah 3

God called Jonah to go to Nineveh and call that great city to repentance. Jonah after initially resisting this call finally went and preached to the people of Nineveh to repent of their sins against God. The people listened and from the king on down repented of their sins and God withheld His judgement. Would not God do the same today if our nation repented?
