God persistently pursues you—and He will eventually have your full attention. You can give it to Him now or, like Pharaoh, you can resist and rebel and only bow your knee as He dispenses what you deserve—the full punishment for your sin. As we marvel at Pharaoh’s hard-heartedness through the nine plagues that demonstrate God’s supreme authority, it’s time to examine our own hearts. Does God have my full attention? Is Christ my Lord and Savior? This message about the Passover makes a clear connection to what Christ has done on the cross—why the shedding of blood was necessary and our need to accept His sacrifice. It also reveals where you stand with Him. If you think of sin as weakness, of Hell as only figurative, and of people as basically good, this message will clarify your need for a Savior. Listen and take the opportunity to make the decision only you can make—to choose to accept all of Christ, for all your sin, as all you need to get all of you into heaven.
We live in a world where seeing is believing. But that’s not the world we read about in the Bible. In God at Work, you’ll see how God works through faith, not sight. Get to know Jacob, an unnamed widow, Ruth, and Esther and gain insights from their experiences. You’ll see He works in the same way today — in the DVD of recent God at Work stories. And in you.
