3206 Dean & Dee Mader – Part 2: (alcohol, rejection) Dean’s alcoholic father calls him “Stupe.” This rejection leads to Dean’s drinking as a teenager. His drunkenness then causes many foolish decisions and near-death accidents. He completes a tour in the Navy but quits college. He tries moving to California but can’t escape his bad habits. Even marriage and family don’t change him. A head-on encounter with another car on the Pacific Coast Highway ultimately leads to an encounter with Christ.
