God Will Bring Justice for You
Sunday, January 09, 2011

Learn that God is just, and even though His justice may be hidden now, it will become obvious when Jesus Christ is revealed.  He will punish those who disobey the Gospel with everlasting destruction and they will be shut out from the presence of God—without hope and love forever.  The hardest of truths can produce the most tender heart, so use this difficult truth (1) to sustain your faith in a suffering world, (2) to restrain your desire to even the score, (3) to increase your compassion for people who harm you, (4) to help you understand what happened at the cross, (5) to motivate your obedience to the Gospel, and (6) to deepen your joy in the mercy of God.  “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.”

Finding the Real Jesus

This Month For a Gift of Any Amount:

Who was Jesus, really? For centuries, the Christian Church has taught that Jesus is the divine Son of God, crucified for sinners and raised from the dead. In recent years, however, that picture of Jesus has come under widely publicized attack from sources ranging from critical scholars, to Internet pundits, to popular historians and others.

New York Times bestselling author, Lee Strobel, separates truth from the media hype, sound scholarship from bias, and fact from speculation. Digging below the surface, this book provides credible, informed answers about Jesus, The Divine Son of God!
