Act on What You Know: Leave the Rest to God
Sunday, November 07, 2010

References: Deuteronomy 29

"The secret things belong to the Lord."  That means there will be things in our lives that God does not reveal--our children's future, reasons for suffering, how we will die, loved one's salvation, tomorrow's events, ministry outcomes and progress in the Christian life. We live with what God has kept secret by trusting what God has revealed, "The revealed things belong to us." Affirm your trust in what God has revealed:  We know God is faithful, we know our suffering is not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us, we know that to live is Christ and to die is gain, we know that God reveals Himself to those who do not seek Him, we know that we are much more valuable to God than the birds He feeds, we know our labor in the Lord is not in vain, and we know that when He appears we shall be like Him!

Finding the Real Jesus

This Month For a Gift of Any Amount:

Who was Jesus, really? For centuries, the Christian Church has taught that Jesus is the divine Son of God, crucified for sinners and raised from the dead. In recent years, however, that picture of Jesus has come under widely publicized attack from sources ranging from critical scholars, to Internet pundits, to popular historians and others.

New York Times bestselling author, Lee Strobel, separates truth from the media hype, sound scholarship from bias, and fact from speculation. Digging below the surface, this book provides credible, informed answers about Jesus, The Divine Son of God!
