You may be rich materially when you retire, but will you have your spiritual debts completely paid off when your time comes? Spiritually, all of us sit on death row until we discover that the Messiah Jesus has paid our sentence of death in full. As we receive new spiritual life we should enter a life of thanksgiving that lasts forever, but there are enemies who want to rob us of joy by trying to lock us up again in a life of guilt and religious observances. The Apostle Paul exposes these spiritual thieves and challenges us to hang on to Christ alone.
