As the church of Jesus Christ, what is the main thing that we're supposed to keep as the "main thing"? Is it finding the lost? Reaching seekers? Discipling believers? Caring for the poor? Creating community? Sending missionaries? Offering Bible studies? These are all good things, but the main thing is not a thing at all. The main thing is a person, and that person is Jesus Christ!
In this message, Pete Briscoe takes us to Revelation 1:9-20, where we see a powerful, symbolic image of Jesus standing among the churches. John's apocalyptic writings enhance our understanding of Jesus' divine sovereignty, authority, character, purpose, and love for us.
In John 10:10, Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." He forgives our sins so that we can experience life in Christ.
