Saving Grace

Why is a walk in a garden so relaxing? Because we were created to live in God's garden of perfection, forever. Unfortunately, as the story goes, Adam and Eve made a fatal error and were forced to make their home in the garden of sin instead, where nothing is perfect or peaceful.
But remember, this is God's story! God came looking for Adam and Eve after they disobeyed. And in His grace, He still comes looking for us today. Jill Briscoe takes us through biblical examples of God's saving grace and how He offers us a way to His riches through Christ.

There are over 350 prophesies in the Old Testament that describe the Messiah. Jesus, born with no fanfare or even a crib, fulfilled every single one! The mathematical odds of that are virtually impossible.
And yet, even with that knowledge, the question about Jesus is ultimately a personal one you have to decide on your own. Who do you think the baby Jesus was?

While here on earth, Jesus himself sought communion with God through prayer. His disciples were to do likewise. He gave us a pattern to follow. For those who ask, seek, and knock, God is more than willing to answer. He is even more willing than friends or an earthly father, as Jesus explains through the parables. But the Christian's prayer requests need to be in line with Jesus' model prayer. Luke 11:1-28

"Mary...sat at the Lord's feet listening to what He said" (Luke 10:39). One of the things that matters most to Jesus is our personal relationship with Him. This matters to Him even when it doesn't matter to us! He offers the human race an incredible invitation. He says, "Let's talk." What does this mean? Who was Jesus? Jesus was no ordinary child. The book of Hebrews says He was Divinity. He was God Himself, Immanuel - God with us.
