How Can I Love God?

December 6, 2016
When we think of love, it's often the flawed, fleeting variety that lasts only as long as we are happy. But that kind of love isn't the love described in 1 Corinthians. God's love is bigger and deeper than that - to see it you only have to follow Jesus through the Gospels! Jill takes a fresh, in-depth look at the popular subject of love, contrasting what we know of love and what God tells us love should be.

Based on Luke 10:38-42, this is the 6th teaching in Jill's 6-message series, "Living Love." In this final message, Jill looks at Mary of Bethany and the alabaster box.

Have you lost your joy? It can be hard when life is swirling around you and beating you down, but true joy is found in praising God for who He is and what He's doing, even when you can't see it. "To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?" says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Isaiah 40:25-26 Based on Isaiah 40 and Psalm 137, this is the 5th message in Jill Briscoe's 8-message series from Isaiah titled Shelter from the Wind.
