Dr. Wesley K. Stafford, President of Compassion International®, grew up in a remote village in West Africa with his missionary parents – developing a lifelong passion to help the poor and needy. Wess moved to the U.S. in his teens – not realizing God would use him to impact thousands of impoverished children!

After 15 years with Compassion International®, Wess Stafford became president in 1993. He's a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Biola University, Wheaton College Graduate School and Michigan State University.
