Growing up we hated when we got in trouble and disciplined. At the time we didn’t know how necessary it was for our growth and development. Today on Sound Doctrine Pastor Jeff Johnson will explain to us that God allows for financial difficulty as a means for discipline. Solomon is teaching his son not to despise the chastening of the Lord. He disciplines us Because he loves us! Solomon wants his sons to take to heart the lessons he learned. When we come to Christ we become sons and daughters of God. We are to take on His DNA so to speak through His Son’s blood that was shed for you and I. Today on Sound Doctrine, Pastor Jeff Johnson will teach us that God wants us to be like He is, and love.
