This has been an intersting lesson from Galatians 4. The Apostle Paul shed light on a typology in the Old Testament with Sarah and Abraham representing the Promise of Eternal Life through a promised Son. Pastor Jeff has been explaining that the Old Jerusalem represents Law and regulation. But the promise we have in the new Jerusalem is one established on grace through Christ.

There is a syaing that the Old Testament is a picture of a New Testament principle. Paul draws on this concept as he uses the old Jerusalem as a sign of living under the Law, in comparison to the new Jerusalem in Heaven where those who believe in Christ are citizens. Paul was a master at the Old Testament, and God used him to bring a clear teaching of grace. Join Pastor Jeff for the second half of a message called, "Whos Your Mother?"

Thanks for joining us today on SDR. Pastor Jeff has been teaching about the grace of God from the Apostle Paul's letter to the Galatians. Paul had to go deep into doctrine by pulling out Old Testament allegories to explain the implications of the Cross; which is Grace. Pastor Jeff helps explain these allegories in Galatians 4 with a message he titled, "Whos Your Mother?"

Thanks for joining us on Monday’s edition of SDR. As we have been going through the book of Galatians, we begin to see the Apostle Paul’s genuine care and concern for the body of Christ. He is not trying to persuade them for his own good but for theirs. This is the mark of a good shepherd, just like Jesus, everything He did was for the benefit of others. Coming up Next on SDR Pastor Jeff gives us the conclusion to his messaged called, “Paul's Personal Plead.”

Thanks for joining us on this special edition of SDR. Fathers Day is this Sunday so Pastor Jeff has taken a short break from the book of Galatians to focus on our Heavenly Father. Childhood for many may have been a bad experience because of their fathers. But Jesus who is full of love and mercy declared, “If you have seen me, then you have seen the Father.” As Christians we have a dependable Father in Heaven who loves us. Coming up next, Pastor Jeff will give the second half of his message, “A Father's Love.”

Thanks for joining us for a special Fathers Day message on SDR. As Christians we don’t just simply have a God who saved us, but it’s much deeper than that, we are his children and  he is our Father. He also  becomes our example as of as fathers should raise there children. Today Pastor Jeff teaches that though our earthly fathers may have failed us, our Heavenly Father never will. Join us for a message called, “A Fathers Love.”

Thanks for joining us for a Wednesday edition of SDR. Pastor Jeff is in the book of Galatians chapter 4. One of the qualities of a pastor is one who genuinely cares for his congregation. The Apostle Paul was that caring pastor who protected his flock. When the religious Jews tried to persuade the Galatians back into Legalism, the Apostle Paul pleaded with them his concerns and reminds them of their love towards him. Join pastor Jeff for part 2 of “Paul's Personal Plead.”

There’s an old saying that says, “People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” The Apostle Paul has been addressing the issue of legalism and combating the religious groups. But he changes his tone to give the Galatians his personal plead, to remain in the Grace that they received when they first believed. Join Pastor Jeff for a messaged titled, “Paul’s Personal Plead.”

Welcome to Mondays edition of SDR. As adults we have to make many decisions, where we are going to work, live and who we will marry. But the most important decision any one will ever make is the decision to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. Once that decision is made, we are promised eternal life. So why do we find people today backing out of that decision to follow legalism and religions? Well this is what was happening in Galatia, because of the legalistic false teachers. Pastor Jeff gives the conclusion to his messaged called, “It’s a Matter Of Choice.”
June 15, 2015
We are in the book of Galatians chapter 4 and pastor Jeff is starting at vs 8. The Apostle Paul begins to spiritually spank the Galatians for their legalistic and religious practices. Christ has rescued us from the bondage of sin and legalism, but mans nature is to run back to it. Pastor Jeff teaches us that these things are elementary, and we need to remain spiritually mature in Christ. Stay tuned for a message called, “It’s A Matter Of Choice.”
